Dat's right, kiddies! This year I feel like doing more than just ignore the Usual Football Monstrosity. Instead, I plan to have my own fun, with a Blood Bowl game between dwarf and orc teams, complete with pre-game overanalysis, lots & lots of hype, a game report, and munchies. Everything but the munchies will be shared on this blogspace, for your shaking of head and groaning enjoyment. I'd post pictures too, but I don't have a digital camera and my miniatures aren't painted so it'd be hard to tell the teams apart. Well, I do have a team of painted minis that Thom graciously did for me, but since they're elves in whites and pastels they really wouldn't suit for either side too well. ::shrug::

It was gonna be, but De Twoit's stadium is still under repairs from the last amateur match played there, a rather gruesome pick-up game between the Greater Amorical Legal Association and the National Assocation Against Other People's Opinions. The crowd ripped up the stands pretty fiercely when they realized that at least one team would survive the match. The stadium management estimate it'll be at least a couple months before they can finish removing all the debris, let alone repair.
